Pollution in Oklahoma

A fish kill in the Salt Fork of the Arkansas River in June has prompted new concerns about the environment. The Environment Protection Agency is providing half a million dollars in federal funding to pay for cleanup of contaminated sites in the state. But state government efforts and money for cleanup of 'brownfield' sites can only go so far, and the recent reporting shows the state's air, land and water are facing new threats. Joining us to discuss the latest are reporters Bob Sands of OETA and the Oklahoma News Report; Sarah Terry-Cobo of the Journal Record; and, Joe Wertz of StateImpact Oklahoma.
