School Safety Commission

Less than a week after the deadly shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, legislative leaders formed the non-partisan Oklahoma Commission on School Security. The commission moved quickly to develop findings and recommendations for Oklahoma schools. 22 people served on that commission and three of them join us: Eleanor Goetzinger, Behavior Specialist for Oklahoma City Public Schools; Roger Webb, Headmaster of Oklahoma Christian School and former President of the University of Central Oklahoma; and, Kim Carter, director of the Oklahoma Office of Homeland Security.
