Col. Lawrence Wilkerson
He was Chief of Staff to Secretary of State Colin Powell from 2002 to 2005. Before joining the State Department, he served 31 years in the U.S. Army and was special assistant to General Powell when he was Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. while at the state department, Colonel Lawrence Wilkerson helped make the case for waging war in Iraq. Since leaving the Bush administration, he has been an outspoken critic of the war and American foreign policy in the region. On February 5th, Colonel Lawrence Wilkerson spoke at the University of Central Oklahoma. I talked to him that day about Iran, Syria, Israel, U.S. foreign policy, the military and more. Colonel Lawrence Wilkerson is our guest, on Oklahoma Forum.

Foreign policy was front and center in the final presidential debate. While most American voters remain focused on domestic issues, what happens on the international stage can quickly become any administration's primary concern. Whether it's trade, the environment or national security, international relations have a profound impact on u.s. policy, affecting all of us.
