Election Preview
At long last, the election is upon us. In-person voting began in Oklahoma on Friday, and most voters will cast their ballots Tuesday. They will select five members of congress, 47 state legislators and numerous county office-holders. Voters will also vote up or down on six state questions and 12 judges. And, oh yes, there is also a president to pick. We preview Tuesday's election, with Oklahoma Votes analysts: Neva Hill, President of Neva Hill & Associates, political consulting firm. Sheryl Lovelady, former political pollster and strategist. and, Keith Gaddie, Professor of Political Science at the University of Oklahoma.

Foreign policy was front and center in the final presidential debate. While most American voters remain focused on domestic issues, what happens on the international stage can quickly become any administration's primary concern. Whether it's trade, the environment or national security, international relations have a profound impact on u.s. policy, affecting all of us. So we discussed U.S. foreign policy with our guests: Mohamed Daadaoui, Associate Professor of Political Science at Oklahoma City University. Louis Furmanski, Chair of the Political Science Department at the University of Central Oklahoma. Peter Gries, Director of the Institute for U.S.-China Issues at the University of Oklahoma. And Mike Boettcher, ABC news correspondent and Correspondent in Residence at the OU Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication.

Farm Bill Update
Congress reconvened for a short stint starting September 10th, but not much was accomplished before they broke for another recess. Among the bills left unattended was the Farm Bill, a beleaguered piece of legislation that's been reworked by both the House and the Senate and ultimately still left undecided. We spoke to the President of the Oklahoma Farm Bureau, Mike Spradling, about the legislation and what it's holdup means for local farmers in this ONR excerpt.
