Former South Dakota Senator and Democratic presidential nominee George McGovern died Sunday, October 21 at the age of 90. McGovern famously ran against President Nixon in 1972 on a platform of ending the Vietnam War. While he lost the battle for the presidency, he would continue in the war to end hunger and instill peace for the rest of his career, and indeed, his life. In his final interview, McGovern spoke with ONR's Dick Pryor about his time in office and how Watergate forever changed the face of politics in America.
