Oklahoma News Report

In this episode of the ONR, the Oklahoma legislative session kicks off with Governor Mary Fallin's State of the State address. We bring you excerpts of her speech and reactions to her agenda from the lawmakers at 23rd and Lincoln. One item on many lawmakers' minds is the crumbling capitol, but Bob Sands uncovers a swath of ignored infrastructure problems across the state. Then, the nation and the state struggle to support a growing elderly population. And for years, the ethnic makeup of Oklahoma's prison system has went unchanged, and remains skewed towards minorities. Plus, business news, art at the state capitol, and a conversation with one of Colin Powell's former aides on this ONR.
