In this week's ONR, Oklahoma's prisons are at capacity, and the Department of Corrections is seeking more funds to handle the nearly 900 new prisoners added to the system in the past year. A study finds that the new A-F school grading system implemented by the Oklahoma State Board of Education hasn't earned a passing grade. Our reporters look at a disease that, in the very least, robs the afflicted of sleep and can lead to a bevy of health problems, even death. Plus, school choice week, women in combat, capitol repairs and presidential inaugurations on this episode of the ONR.

In this week's ONR, Oklahoma's murder rate reached near-record highs in 2012, while Oklahoma's other major metro area, Tulsa, was at lower rate than usual. We look at what's causing the disparity in numbers, and what's being done to prevent violent deaths across the state. The Pinnacle Plan meant to restructure the Oklahoma Department of Human Services went into effect last July, but it still has a ways to go to be fully implemented. Multiple Sclerosis can strike anyone at anytime, but a cure remains elusive. While drugs are available to slow the disease's progression, the cost remains out of reach for some. Plus, the Supreme Court steps into one of Oklahoma's ongoing water wars, Organizational Day, and a look at a historic Tulsa building, on this ONR.
