Every year, thousands of Oklahomans learn they have a disease which poses a risk of blindness, loss of limbs, and even death. If current trends continue, it's estimated that one in three adults will suffer some form of diabetes by the year 2050. While there is still no cure, an effort is underway to raise awareness about the disease, and encourage Oklahomans to adopt healthier lifestyles to head off this epidemic.
