House Bill 1652 has passed the House. The law would allow people who have conceal-carry permits to bring their weapons to Career Tech Centers. The law stipulates that the weapons cannot be taken into the buildings, but they can be left in the owner’s locked vehicle.

More than five-million dollars from OCI’s operating account is being used to avoid more furlough days for prison guards.
