State Rep. Randy Terrill and former state Senator Debbe Leftwich both pleaded not guilty to bribery charges. The two are to be in court next on March 17th meanwhile both are free on bond. Steven W. Taylor took over as the Chief Justice of the Oklahoma Supreme Court today. Justice Taylor asked for a subdued ceremony compared to years past citing ongoing budget cuts. Finding a job that pays a decent wage is tough enough these days but if you are a prison inmate about to be released the prospects are dim at best. Tonight a report on a new program aimed at helping incarcerated women get gainful employment once they are on the outside. A new study finds the state is making improvement lowering the number of children living with abuse and neglect. Tonight we talk with DHS officials about what is finally bringing down the number of children who live in abusive situations. While a leading economic indicator for the state has dropped again, a noted economist says the economic future of the state still looks good.
