Daniel joined the OETA August 27, 2008.
He began his career in photojournalism while attending the University of Oklahoma's Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication. After earning his Bachelors degree in Journalism in May, 2006, Daniel worked as a feature reporter and photographer for the Muskogee Phoenix newspaper. In addition to writing feature stories and shooting still photography, he shot and edited video packages for the paper's Web site.
Moving back to Oklahoma City in 2007, Daniel worked for the El Reno Tribune as a photographer and reporter.
Documentary filmmaking was a natural fit for Daniel's curiosity, feature storytelling background, and belief that telling people's stories can serve as the bridge that connects our past to our future.
Daniel is a photojournalist for Stateline, Gallery and The State of Creativity.
