Early Morning Programming

Written by Holly on Saturday April 24, 2010

If you're like me and most of your primetime hours are dedicated to your family, OETA has a new opportunity for you to catch up on some of the wonderful programming offered by PBS.

Starting this Sunday, OETA's early morning hours of 5am to 7am will be filled with repeats of primetime programming from earlier in the week. For example, on Monday morning, we'll air Sunday night's NATURE program "Frogs: The Thin Green Line" at 5am, followed by last Thursday's GROWING GREENER SCHOOLS at 6am.

For the past several years, we've had similar programming in the hours of midnight to 5am, but not many of us are awake at those hours. So this addition of PBS programming in the early morning is more accomodating to viewers who do not have DVRs or other such recording devices.

The schedule will have a somewhat regular pattern, but you'll need to keep an eye on the online schedule so that you don't miss anything.

I hope you'll enjoy this chance to catch up on some of the fine programming PBS and OETA has to offer!
