"Stark Fear" on OKLA
Written by Holly on Friday January 8, 2010
Tune in tonight at 9pm on OETA OKLA for an OETA Movie Club special encore presentation of "Stark Fear," honoring OU film icon Ned Hockman who passed away in December.
Movie Club's BJ Wexler sat down with Ned to talk about his career as well as the making of "Stark Fear," which he produced and directed in 1962. It was the first major theatrical film shot entirely in the state of Oklahoma. It stars Skip Homeier and Beverly Garland as husband and wife with extreme marital problems.
OETA OKLA is seen across the state on the "point-2" OETA channel (13.2, 11.2, 3.2, 12.2, etc.). It can also be seen on Cox Cable 112 in the OKC and Tulsa areas.
The OETA Movie Club is proud to pay homage to Ned Hockman in this way. We do hope you'll tune in tonight at 9pm.
