Immigration: People's Business
Tonight on the People's Business, the issue is immigration. Senators Ralph Shortey and Jim Wilson will take your questions by phone, email or from twitter about legislative efforts to address this national issue.
Senator Shortey has authored three of the major bills dealing wil the issue of people who come into the U.S. illegally and recently debated the issue with the Rev. Dr. William Tabbernee, Executive Director of the Oklahoma Conference of Churches on the ONR.
Senator Wilson has not hestiated to debate against these bills on the floor of the state Senate citing, among other things, the argument that this is a national issue that is best addressed by the federal government.
We expect a lot of calls tonight so be patient if you try to get in and get a busy signal. The show begins tonight at 7:00 o'clock.
