On Pointe in OKC

The opportunity to do a show about the Oklahoma City Ballet was an unexpected surprise.    I met the company’s executive director, John Krasno, while covering the Worldwide Creativity Forum in downtown Oklahoma City.   When John told  me what he did  I shared with him the fact that Gallery had always wanted to get behind the scenes at the Oklahoma City Ballet for it’s viewers.    John, relatively new leadership at the ballet, immediately gave us a green light.

For a span of two months we had access to the company’s leaders, rehearsals, dancers, even getting to talk with them in their dressing rooms prior to performances at the Civic Center Auditorium.  Our cameras were even allowed backstage during one of the company’s most popular productions, “The Nutcracker”.     We ended up with some of the most beautiful High Definition footage we’ve ever shot for a Gallery program and we can’t wait to share it with all of you.  This is going to be one of my favorite shows.  Join us February 10th at 7:30pm for a front row seat to find out what it takes to stay “On Pointe in OKC”.
