Throughout his life, Lee Allan Smith has loved Oklahoma. Patriotism, community pride and creative vision come easily to Lee Allan, and from the time he was a youngster growing up in northwest Oklahoma City he has devoted himself to boosting the state's image and enhancing the quality of life of its citizens.
Lee Allan Smith's efforts have impacted the state in ways big and small. He has used his unique talent to raise money, bring people together and produce some of the most notable events in state history: the star-studded Stars and Stripes Shows that brought the nation to Oklahoma for the 4th of July in the 1970's, the 1989 U.S. Olympic Festival, the State Capitol Dome Dedication in 2002 and the Centennial Parade and Spectacular in 2007, and much more.
